Cycling 53 days with monkeys and gorillasStarting the nice and happy work of lists, facts and collections after the 3375 kilometer and 53 days of cycling in Norway. Start: Nordkapp. Finsih: Mysen (coast roads to Lindesnes and then up Telemark and down Buskerud to Halden and then Mysen)
First happy work is to share the solar cell and battery monkeys from my new pals in www.uhrweder.com who asked me to test the power stuff from www.powertraveler.com . I'll make the report that will tell you that 97% is super and the 3% minus to improve. I belive that they have the best power gear on the marked now (?), and I dreamed about gear like this on the 333 days cycling from Norway to South Africa (2009/10). Had them for 6 mounths now (2011) in all weather. The big test was 53 days of snow, rain and movements on the cycling of Norway - North - South. The monkeys was great and I'v made a collection of photos to salute them in Norwegian nature here (it's my Flickr, and the whole purpose of the days blogg is to make you klick there.. ;-) Hope to have the solar cell report out during August and I'll share that too. The 97% and the 3%. ![]()
Enjoy your activity and try some apes that give you power from the sun!

* Uhrweder and Powertraveler is no moneysponsor. Got the gear. Tested the gear. Happy with the gear. * If you ask me; The inovation of these products should be in the"strapping" and conceps of getting a "rain cover for mobile phone and battery al in one" pluss "100% attchment of connector between battery and phone/gps during movements (read; on the backpack, on the kayak, on the cycle") * I have tested chimps, monkeys, and gorillas in snow, rain, sun on kayak, on hiking, and the hardest test with 53 days on a cycle. * Wikipedia about Solar Cells and the other manufactors here * Uhrweder here Powertraveler here * All my GPS tracks of 3375 km of cycling Norway (North - South - the East) here
Nordkapp - Lindesnes - Mysen, Done! The trip is over. 53 days of cycling is over the finish line. I'll use the next 14 days to put out the best spots, places, photos and cycle paths. You'll find every meter of the trip on my GPS tracker here - and hope youll visist the next photos.. ;-)
