When you dont have it in front of you..
When you don't have it - that's when you realize how important it is .... I'm like that and you are like that...
Â
What I am trying to type out is that the "Base Camp" has been visiting me on my last meters of Europe before Africa and now "Base Camp" have gone again ... .. and it quickly became a bit quiet in the barn....
The signature "Base Camp" for the project is Marianne. It is my girlfriend. She who sat beside me in the car in the queue on the way to work at. half past six in the morning with hot coffee and a breakfast and it was just a normal day. It is 7 months ago since it was just a normal day.
Now I have been a bit much too alone in 7 months and had six days with my girlfriend. She went and I have again 4-5 months. I'm looking at Cairo and has understood that I miss the coffee cup at six in the morning, I miss the queue, before the Ryen crossing, and most of all I miss "Base Camp"
I'm going to enjoy every coffee, every conversation and every little blink some more when this is finished ... Trying to be a better man...
I and you can cycle or hitchhike to China and back. The easiest thing is to cycle. It is hard to be alone. The good is to suddenly realize that I have to appreciate the common things. If you also have a "Base Camp" - I think you should give him or her a hug tonight. You will regret that you did not do it when you're suddenly wondering how to get you through the whole of Africa ...
and a Marianne who like to be a bit of background:
thank you very much for the chat, cuddling, and smiles, before another round starts. The first half was Europe and at home ground, now there is unfamiliar track conditions over the last 45 minutes ... or 4 - 5 months
