Desert Sense Rules (DSR)

1. Do not put out on the road trip with no training. (done!)
2. Tell somebody where you go. (I'm going to Karthoum!)
3. Show respect for the weather and weather forecasts. (Of C!)
4. Be prepared for bad weather and warm even on short trips. Always carry the necessary equipment desert requires. (it is OK!)
5. Listen to experienced desert people. (doing and doing more!)
6. Use the map and compass. (got it! + gps)
7. Do not go alone. (done until now, but not now ..)
8. Turn in time - there is no shame to turn back. (agreed!)
9. Save your forces and seek shelter in time. (obviously!)
