Hitchhike on the Nile

Need to reach the ferry to Sudan on monday and here is "Hamad" who is helping me whith that. Hamad has a six meters sailboat, has local knowledge and shakes his head laughing when he try to answer stupid questions from me. For Example;
"No, there is no crocodiles here! They are on the other side of Aswan and can be 10 meters long."

"No, they don't jump up in the boat, they only do that when they have eggs and thinks you are a threat."

"Yes! There are many rich tourists on the Nile, they are on a big cruiseship from Luxor to Aswan."

"Yes! You can drink the tapwater, I have done it my whole life, it's nonsense you read in the Lonely Planet Book."

"Yes! It's many tourists here now, because it's to hot in the summer." (40 degreeds when I ask).
