8 yers in Valerneg is overA work place I'll remember; Vålerenga FC Or more precisely Vålerenga Football Invest AS (unless they changed the name while I was gone ...) The songs will still be sung in the bathroom, hi ho hi ho we run ..., yy sun shines over .... And all who stood in the park .... , It meant so much for the people there .... And for a bunch of farmers ... (you have to get the songs.. ,-) Have decorated my desk with nice titles on the journey; Marketing boss (good), Media Manager (could have been better) reporter (yes), midfield speaker (fun) Ceremonies (cool) and football coach. New challenges from now on new sites, but it swirl some great names and moments of the years in the club. I was hired by Kjetil Siem (PSL now) and I got football friends all over Norway. The people we hated in twice forty-five and we laughed together afterwards. I have 1000 memories and have learned a lot. Top of memories: 1. Enga takes gold in Skien town and our 100% supporter Frank stands crying with a grass-covered tussock he has stolen from the playing field and claims that he will dilute it until it becomes a lawn. . The other four I take later, now is the new project and it is TV Action .... :-) Runs out and cycle a bit. I'm out of Valerenga but Valerenga is not out of me.
Bjorn Heidenstrom How long time to cycle 2610 KM ?Meet the Viking, Knut Erling Wedul in South Africa. I am an old midfielder who cycels, he is footballnutter and real cycleracer. Everything in shape and , among other trips, he once rode to China .... I plan to do Norway from North to South 2650 km and have spent time to find out time (which you probably also spend a lot of time on ;-))) - : "how long time will I use from the very north to the far south of Norway on a bike? Mail is received from cycle Wedul and he replies: How long it takes from north to south in Norway! Well, it depends on so much! I think the record is about. 5 and a half days! But for us more normal it takes a bit longer. Although I spent 25 days on the bike section North Cape - Kristiansand, which was approx. 265 mil. So there are over 10 mil on average every day! I only had two days rest from North Cape to Oslo (220 mil), only two tays resting, But I had to reach the game; Norway - Scotland at Ullevål 9 September last year and did it with a three-hour margin! It the depends it's about how fit you are in and how much time you want to have to explore the destinations on the route. But I usually say that it takes a month, 30 days - rest days included. (Plus-minus!) We'll talk! Knut Erling Wedul ***************************************** You'll hit Knut here Bjorn Heidenstrom, have a plan..... Borges mapOn Midsummer’s Eve, Børge Ousland and Thorleif Thorleifsson plan to sail from Oslo, in a daring attempt to sail through both the Northwest and Northeast passages during one and the same season. As soon as they have rounded the southern coast of Norway, they will chart a northerly course. This, of course, will merely be a prologue to the challenges that await them. Can their trimaran survive the challenge of ice-filled Arctic waters? The months to come will surely be exciting! We’ll be bringing you daily reports and photos from the expedition. All from Borge Ouslands blog; www.ousland.no Bjorn Heidenstrom, still impressed... Two men, one boat, one very cold tripCan not brag that he his my kind of best mate, but we have talked about trips and expedetions and he is a living legend when it comes to cold trips in weather (done solo to south- and north pole...) He is on a new trip and started from murmansk (Russia) and it's impressive to read. Try it here Bjorn Heidenstrom, likes the kind that goes out of the box.... Geotag you stadiums- or mountain photos!Had to try and it's fun .. Sharing (again) with good friends and getting back some goodies from them. There are some who ask me, "Where is Dadaab in Kenya" and more locally "where was it you took the picture of the farm" and now I can show the photo and the place on the square meter. The answer is geotagging. My favorite (so far) is www.panoramio.com that puts everything directly on Google Earth, and the man who have a gps but is not sharing is Mr KAI Tømmerås, my freind on his super secret mushroom trips (after chanterelles). He tracks and marks every mushroom site, but will have the tracks alone until next years trip.. May be smart. I am a lott in that forest..... Bjorn Heidenstrom, fresh geotagger * Best place for tenting whit kayakk / canoe trip in mye area, all alone except for an eagle ...? I have the geotagg! Just ask! * GPS track to home field for Gråbein IL? it have too! * Best way to the best pub in Riga? have it too! * the path from Oslo to Johannesburg ? well it will take som time to track, but I'v started..
